Our vineyards

We have created our vineyards focusing our attention on the most suitable selections in order to get the most of each vine which we match with less vigorous rootstocks.

We take care of our vineyards so that we can get the best yield in relation to the most diverse climatic conditions. In fact, we are well aware that it’s not just a matter of good or bad luck, but of ability, care and accurate work as well.

Our vineyards are tended following the principles of integrated fight.

  The people
A group of capable and proud people who, guided by agronomist Edoardo Monticelli, are above all aware that the final result is obtained by doing their work step by step and with a clear aim in mind: to produce the best possible grapes. ()

  The harvest
The harvest is done completely “by hand”, our exclusive priority being the choice of the ideal moment for the harvesting. To get good results we bear in mind that it “may rain”, and that we must be ready to face the worst climatic conditions and that, therefore, we have to be able to act timely. ()

  Our estates
The production of our grapes and wines is carried out on three different estates: two of these are situated at the heart of the Barolo region, the third is in the Roero area, and precisely on the Montalupa Hill outside Bra. Our philosophy is twofold: we pursue tradition in the Barolo region and innovation outside this area. ()
